Fred Harteis: Pennsylvania settlers brought Christmas trees in 1820s.

My family has lived in Pennsylvania for generations.  The Christmas tree tradition was brought to American by the Pennsylvania Germans in the 1820’s.  The Christmas Tree originated in Germany in the 16th century.
