Fred Harteis Sports News -  A federal judge on Friday unsealed Barry Bonds' grand jury testimony, an order that would make public what the home run king said under oath about his use of performance-enhancing drugs.

 

Federal prosecutors accused Bonds of lying under oath during his December 2003 testimony to a grand jury investigating steroid use in professional sports, and a separate grand jury indicted on him on four counts of perjury and one count of obstruction.

Fred Harteis Sports News - Cable TV giant Comcast and the NFL Network must return to court to determine the kind of viewing package in which Comcast can put the network.

 

A state appeals court voted 4-0 Tuesday to reverse a lower court ruling that had allowed Comcast to distribute NFL Network games on a niche sports tier rather than a larger digital package with more viewers.

Fred HarteisSports News - - Roger Clemens arrived at the Houston Astros' minor league clubhouse on Tuesday and walked straight to a fenced-in bullpen to greet his oldest son, Koby, a catcher in the Astros' system.

 

He snapped at a photographer who started clicking pictures.

 

"This isn't a zoo!" Clemens barked.

Fred Harteis Sports News- Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress said he hasn’t determined yet whether he will punish left tackle Bryant McKinnie, who was charged with a felony following a confrontation at a Miami night club over the weekend.

 

Speaking to reporters at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Childress said he was still trying to gather all the information from Miami police about the incident.
